These Terms of Use (hereinafter, the “Terms”) set forth the conditions governing the wood trading support services (hereinafter, the “Service”) provided by ALMOK (hereinafter, the “Site”).
All buyers, sawmills, and any other users of the Service (hereinafter, collectively, the “Users”) shall use the Service only upon agreeing to the Terms.

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

These Terms shall apply to all matters related to the use of the Service.
The operator (hereinafter, the “Operator”) reserves the right to amend these Terms at its discretion, and any amendment shall become effective upon its posting on the Site.

Article 2 (User Classifications)

• Buyer: A person or entity seeking to purchase lumber
• Sawmill (Seller): A person or entity that lists and sells lumber
• Operator (Administrator): The entity responsible for managing and operating the Site and mediating or coordinating transactions

Article 3 (Content of the Service)

1. The Service provides an online platform enabling the listing of lumber, searching of listings, and placement of provisional orders.
2. Upon the establishment of a provisional order, the final contract, payment, shipping arrangements, and other related procedures shall be conducted through the Operator.
3. The Service does not warrant, guarantee, or otherwise ensure direct transactions between Users.

Article 4 (Prohibited Conduct)

• Registering false, inaccurate, or misleading information
• Attempting to induce direct transactions without the involvement of the Operator
• Impersonating any third party
• Unauthorized access, tampering, or interfering with the system
• Conduct that violates public order or morality, or conduct that obstructs or may obstruct the operation of the Site

Article 5 (Disclaimer)

1. The Operator makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information posted on the Site.
2. Matters relating to lumber quality—including, but not limited to, dimensions, moisture content, curvature, and the presence or absence of knots—are based on the standards of each respective sawmill, and the Operator assumes no responsibility or liability in this regard.
3. The Operator shall bear no liability whatsoever for any dispute, claim, or damage arising between Users, or between a User and any third party.

Article 6 (Intellectual Property Rights)

All text, images, logos, designs, and any other content posted on the Site are protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights owned by the Operator or legitimate rights holders.

Article 7 (Suspension or Termination of User Accounts)

If a User breaches these Terms or is deemed inappropriate by the Operator, the Operator may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or delete the User’s account.

Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Operator.
